Hard Drive Problem

I just purchased a new Western Digital 80GB Hard drive for one of my computers. The computer that i'm putting it in is a
Micron
1Ghz P3 processor
256 MB Ram
system bus is 100Mhz
running Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition.
Primary HD Maxtor 20Gb

When I installed the drive as a slave the BIOS saw it on boot up. When I got to Windows the drive is not listed under My Computer. I checked the device manager and it is listed under the Disk Drives. Can anyone help me with why it is listed under the device manager but windows isn't showing it as a Drive in my computer.

The drive probably isn't formatted.

You will need to get to the disk tools and from there, format the drive. I would guess it's under administrative tools and computer management. From there you should be able to format the drive I believe.
