Handbrake errors

I have just started my second Hard Drive encode with Handbrake, and as most movies are going rather smoothly, albeit over an hour for conversions everything is going well for the most part.

now with that being said, some movies take only about 4 seconds to rip, and do not play. Red 2, Escape Plan, Ted, are all movies like this. They were all ripped the same way using AnyDVD HD, ripped to video ts folders,

I can play the ripped movies just fine, they look great but when trying to encode them to MP4 they just will not rip. I have tried both normal and high profile. and I have also tried MKV as well.

any suggestions?

Use MakeMKV to pull the movie off the DVD.

Then use Handbrake to encode them.

I have noticed that Handbrake sometimes wont encode well when I use a long queue or have been doing a number of videos for a long time(hours).

It usually fixes itself after I restart Handbrake and only try to encode the video by itself.
