I'm sure this is old but I just saw the Halo 3 trailer while watchin Monday Night Football on ESPNHD. Looked pretty sweet.

Not old, that was the first air, it was announced it would be CG.


It sucked though, its known it wasn't made by bungie, and you can tell.....it looks like whoever made the halo wars CG made this, because both don't scream halo like the announcement trailer.


Announcement trailer made me giddy just watching the master chief walk up through the smoke.....this CG was just like, wtf....it looked....detailed, but wtf?

missing the start with 2 kids talking but nothing really important.

Looks good, really can't wait for some in game footage and a concrete release date.

Least now I try to identify more with ancient spartans. I was very dissapointed with Halo 2, I really didn't want to be associated with that "game."

If it were on PC they wouldn't even have the budget to even produce a commercial, the hardcore pc gamers who all buy doom, half life, and the such is sooooo tiny compared to console players it is unreal, sure the market base is much larger but the attach rate is almost non existent.

I believe that is all the game engine working (Like Gears of Wars cut scenes)

With the first teaser, it was all what the Halo3 engine can do. I seem to recall they said all their trailers would be like this. So drool away.

This latest commercial was rendered by a CGI studio, which Bungie sent in-game models to.
