and *houston. sorry.

did ya check your bios? does your bios say 8x?

it says it can go to 8x i can't find where it is set at in my bios, it says the write speeds in the bios

If your AGP was set a 0x, disabled, you wouldn't get video, or so I'm thinking... So I would bet it's misreading your BIOS. Update your BIOS may let the software read it properly, but if the BIOS is reporting 8x your kosher. It's common for these 3rd party apps to misread certian figures such as this.

Pheonix86 is right... go download your latest BIOS, then set your agp to 8x, and you shouldn't have problems.

That has happened to me. I immediately noticed it when my games got slow. It has to do with the ATI drivers and directx. I bet you have directx 9.0b.

Re-install the ATI drivers.

yea i have Directx 9.0b, reinstall original ati drivers?.... where can i get the new bios for gigabyte GA-81k1100 chip set 875p?

Make sure you have the chipset drivers for your Intel chipset installed. That would make a difference.
