that's cool. i just started running my thinkpad at 1.6GHz full for 24/7 operation with the fan on all the time to keep the temp down. now it runs 1.6GHz 100% cpu usage 24/7 @ 43C. :cool:
 
Sweet, I've checked for a month or so every week and there definitely has been some good progress in that time.
 
Good job everyone. This has been the fastest overtake I've ever seen and one for the recordbooks. Now, it's time to (have a beer or three) get to work and make this the fastest and largest point difference ever. We've got the machines and the ability to do it. Let's find more machines and do it faster. Then, let's keep the lead. I don't care if they ramp up and catch up. We'll just ramp some more and push harder.

The relic trophy will be home soon. Let's make it a nice long stay. :cool:

 
Now from the picture above, there are a lot of people who aren't folding under a valid team number. I wonder if there's any chance that they can be tracked down and rounded up or something. I know it's a stretch.. but still
 
installing windoze on my sempron 2500+ @ 1.8ghz (400mhz oc), once thats done i move the cdrom to my AthlonXP 1700+ and install linux.... and then comes the Athlon 850..... and then comes the K6-2-550 (i cleaned up my apt and found some computers!)

Don't think we haven't tried to come up with ways of doing that...it's even tougher than it looks. I say we just get Stanford to put in 33 as the default team number.

I should have a nice new years eve gift shortly to help me put out over 2000ppd HOPEFULLY.

But I believe everyone here deserves a pat on the back! From FLEC, to all our new teammates, to the staff, to HardOCP to devotion and time spent mulling over this sub-forum waiting for new posts!

Good job guys. With any luck this will drive the aussies to work harder and make us work harder to try to keep #1. It is for a good cause so I think it is fair to wish them some luck.
