Yup, I don't think I'm going to even bother. It literally never showed up in stock for me until 2 minutes after everyone was bragging about what they got, and when I did try to add to cart, I get the "Fuck you flesh bag plebe we're not adding shit to your cart!!!" response.I think everyone is still comparing prices to pre-tariff MSRPs. Add 25-30% to MSRPs from last year and those don't look like such bad prices.

Out of stock within about 2s
AMD still has a problem with bot protection (Edit: apparently they use Digital River), as evident in this screenshot from someone bragging in a Discord moments ago. Their endpoint (API) is completely exposed and that's what's being exploited.Yup, I don't think I'm going to even bother. Damn, I had a 6800xt in cart within the first few seconds, got as far as the "review" page and then just kept dumping me back out to the products page with an error, sooo close that time.I think everyone is still comparing prices to pre-tariff MSRPs. AMD still doesn't care about bot protection, as can be seen in this screenshot from someone bragging in a Discord moments ago. With the good-guy, friend-to-the-enthusiast schtick AMD's corporate messaging continually tries to convey, why not make the smallest investment into beefing up anti-bot security and hire out if it's over the heads of their internal webdev team.

For what its worth both AMD's and Nvidia's back-end retail selling to end-point customer is through Digital River.AMD still doesn't care about bot protection, as evident in this screenshot from someone bragging in a Discord moments ago. Yeah the chat I was in there was one guy happy/bragging that his bot nabbed 5 of them. And people were congratulating him on it. I just don't want any fucking part of this scene. Only thing I could have gotten at that AMD drop was a 3950x, 5800x (lol NOPE!), and a 5600x which I actually did add to my cart just to see if their shit was broken. But WTF do I care about a CPU now, GPU comes first the CPU is easy by comparison because I don't have to be too picky, hell I could go for the 3600x if I wanted.AMD still doesn't care about bot protection, as evident in this screenshot from someone bragging in a Discord moments ago. Try using incognito mode in chrome or another browser. AMD bans you for F5ing a lot. They also apparently ban you for clicking too many or clicking "Add to Cart" too quickly.Access denied for at AMD for refreshing page manually...they suck
Alas, the GPU really is the new CPU, isn't it.But WTF do I care about a CPU now, GPU comes first the CPU is easy by comparison because I don't have to be too picky, hell I could go for the 3600x if I wanted.
In stock and ships same or next biz day.In stock. looks decent. Its hard to tell if theres any shipping delay or if the machine is ready 2 go
Well like I said the CPU I have choices, if I'm not too picky. I mean I don't need (nor want) a 5950x. And with Ryzen I could get an older one and just upgrade later if I feel there's much of a bottleneck.Alas, the GPU really is the new CPU, isn't it.
I had passed on a 3090 Hybrid, might email them and see what happens. so email [email protected]?Move quick on this, boys: if EVGA sent you a notification buy-link but you missed it (or ignored it), and you email them and tell them you missed it and ask for a new link, apparently they may re-issue one within 12-24hrs. My friend ignored his 3090 buy link back in October, and today requested a new buy link and got one.
Time is of the essence since they're likely to change the policy if they get flooded with requests.
No, not just anyone can email them and ask for a link. They will check your account to see if you were notified for the product in question.
I would be interested here to know if he gets all these cards he purchased. I know for a fact that Digital River is SUPPOSED to be validating and comparing addresses before shipping. I did pass this along to some folks that I still know over there.AMD still doesn't care about bot protection, as evident in this screenshot from someone bragging in a Discord moments ago. Mine was in december so I doubt they will allow me to buy the card. Oh well, worth a try. This is definitely worth trying, YMMV depending on who you get.
I tried this recently with one of my older notifications that I "missed" and was rejected but it seems to work for some, so it doesn't hurt to try.
My acquaintance got the following today from a notification missed on Nov. 20, so maybe try again, or call them up (I'm sure they hate that, but we're talking about a GPU - life and death)
Unrealistic to expect your position in queue is kept months after you got a notification. Frankly it's unfair to those who are still waiting just to be bypassed by someone who missed their notification and want it resent weeks/months after.Good idea about the phone call. Will try that and report back.

Got my bi-weekly rejection letter from Newegg Shuffle
I got the same reply and was allowed to place my order for the 3090 FTW3 hybrid. This is definitely worth trying, YMMV depending on who you get.

Ordered one as well. Tired of the rejection letters. For the time wasted on them I could have bought the 3080 I wanted.AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 3.7 GHz, RTX 3080 10 GB GDDR6X, 16 GB DDR4 3200, 1 TB NVMe SSD, B550 Motherboard, 750W Gold PSU

Are you going to resell the rest or use the whole PC as is?Ordered one as well. Tired of the rejection letters. For the time wasted on them I could have bought the 3080 I wanted.

After 30 newegg rejections, this sure brightens up my day/week/month/year.

Yeah, I just went to their site and got in the notify queue for a couple 3080's.Once again EVGA reminds me that I should probably wait and give them my money.
Well if they show anything is that you absolutely will wait.Once again EVGA reminds me that I should probably wait and give them my money.
You guys are welcome to give Tech Drops Discord a go. Bassman scored a PS5 through there. Make sure you hit the Role channel and react to which ever it is your looking for so you get alerts when items are picked up.
It's 2 days old so still having features tweaked and such but it was created because of salty mods on a Xbox stock discussion discord that wanted to blend the stock channel into gen pop chatter. So most that help in the channel are pretty seasoned in how this stuff works.
Thats early and Ill get to bed so if and when I dont win it will be because I suck at competing not that I slept thru it lolNo guarantees but eyes peeled on BB this morning, I would say beginning at 7AM PST/10AM EST
