You need to have 10,000 points and be an active member of the team in either UD or F@H. If your stats on hf.com show you as a Casualty, then you will not be elidgible even if you have over the 10k points required.

So how do you do that?

Everyone Assumes that it is easy, but I have not found any info that actually gives the correct settings that are needed to do that.


I have had problems before with finding the info for hardfolding.com and finding the correct info, and the rude answer I got from King_n made me not use that site at all.

Now that trading for the [H]orde is all to be done there, I spent over an hour screwing with it last night, and have not got it working correctly so I can acess the trade site to list what I have for trade.

I personnally do not have the time to waste trying to figure out what he want's to be able to access a site that I am a member of, If when I have spent the time to access all the findable info and threads, and everything refers to a page that when atempting to access tells me that I have to fill in the information that is needed to access the site,






 
First off, I don't remember any message from you at all(I even searched through your forum posts to see where this message was, as well as my PMs), the only time you'll get a rude response from me is if you are bashing the site, bashing me, bashing my preffered project, or directing people away from [H] to another team.

Now as far as getting the trade area to work you need to edit your registration there is a link after each item that states Edit Registration, this will take you directly to the edit registration page.

Now all you have to do here *if* you are already a member on [H]ard|Folding is simply fill in the blanks under the Trade section of the edit registration form.

King I have a question...

Was trying to login to the database tonight, logged in, says Welcome KodiakStar all of that.
THEN I click on the link to the Horde Trade, then it pops up "You must be logged into use this area", at that time it resets to "Welcome Guest"

Is this something on hf.com side? or client side?
 
Yeah, it's not quite working tonight. I figure King will get it all worked out, or maybe it's a server issue. The login always resets. Thougth it was my cookies first, but those all look good. I thought I'd get into the horde trade, but that'll have to wait.

This is a server side problem(that happens on occasion), I will inform the [H] admin and get it straightened out.

The response about how to navigate the site to find the correct number to make the badges work, is no longer in the data base, I just checked again. I am sure you don't remember it, but as the person called " to damn lazy to read the instructions" after spending two evenings trying to make it work, when the link would not show the correct page, I remember it well.

But check your Webmaster E-mail as I asked the same questions yesterday

Where do I find my hard folding stats ID # is that in the badge thing? using my folding name doesn't work.

I know I am real dense about this stuff, but I average 12 hour work days six days a week and two hours of commuting, I really could use a hint about where to find the data you ask for that is not something I need to use every time I log on.

I know you bust your ass to make that site work and it is a no thanks kind of job, but please remember some of us aren't as savey with how to track things down as others, and need pointed in the right direction.

Your [H]ard|Folding stats record #, just look at your badge code the number will be listed after id=

No offence Carl, but trust me after knowing King for many years now no profanity even the word “damn” exists in his vocabulary.

Your silly iMac and peripherals will run scared from the Model M. This thing can perform as a keyboard, deadly weapon or bumper for your car and still be usable again. :D

The yellow highlighted line tells you what you need to do. You need to edit your Hardfolding profile as it is needing something yet. Going into that should tell you what you need.

No way, Jose. I'm just repeating what King has already mentioned before. I helped a little in testing the database originally and just kept up on the problems people were having and what the solutions to them were. I sorta remember some of the stuff. I've just gotten lucky and pointed to what people needed to check out and they fixed it from there. If the problems had gone any farther than they did, I probably would not have been able to help anymore.

Besides, I don't normally have a lot of time to spend in here since most of my time in the DC forum is when I'm at work. Therefore, i don't hit it up much at night so I have some reading material at work the next day. ;)

I will continue to lurk and rear my ugly head every now and then when you least expect it. :)
