I think we need a thread to track all of the SR-2 owners here, and their configurations.

If you own an SR-2 and fold for the [H]orde (or otherwise contribute to DC projects on behalf of [H]ard|OCP), please post below. I will keep a list of all the owners here, plus a link to the owner's post. If you change your configuration, edit your post rather than making a new post so that we keep things organized (more or less).

Things to include in your post:
  • parts list (CPUs, RAM, heatsinks, PSU, etc.)
  • current overclock (BIOS version and settings would be nice)
  • pics
  • benchmarks (F@H TPF and/or PPD for various WUs)
  • anything else you like!

[H]orde SR-2 Owners Club

25 SR-2s for the [H]orde, and counting...

Congrats! :D Those SR-2 boards are impressive to look at, but even more awesome when you see the frame times and go through the work getting cranked out.

I just picked up my first Big Adv WU: P2692, 13min 14 sec frame times @ 3.51GHz for 127,400PpD!! Puts my PpD at the moment @ just under 200K PpD (I've got 2 P2684's on the other i7's).

Lucky! I've been working my way through 6701s (7 out of the last 10 WU)...

Lucky! I've been working my way through 6701s (7 out of the last 10 WU)...

I (as many others) have had my fair share of the 6701/2's. On my i7's, I crunch 4 to 5 A3's per Big Adv and at least one or two of those are 6701's. On my regular SMPs clients, about every other WU is a 6701/2. The point difference on the regular SMPs is relatively significant, but insignificant to my overall PpD.

Holy CRAP!!! I need to see if I can get the blck. I'm at 195, but I think I've got some room.

I haven't hit the wall yet, but I know I'm close!

It will be interesting to see if you can stay around this speed. You are faster than my fastest one by 15-20 seconds/frame, so that is encouraging. It this with 2:10 memory?

People keep trying to bait me into buying moar D. :p

Yes, it looked for a while yesterday that I might have a 2684, 2685, and 2686 running on my x5650, x5660 and x5680, but it was not to be.

I have to say that the three Swedish 6900s that followed are not in anyway monotonous. :)

have an SR-2 with a pair of L5640's @ 3.6ghz

20 SR2s! Well done [H]. That is massive.

You know, we should really look into maybe getting the manufacturer of these SR2s to sponsor us perhaps?

with all the issues I have been having my SR-2 might end up in the garbage

20 SR2s! Well done [H]. That is massive.

...and half the SR-2s belong to just five people.

There are eleven pairs of extra spicy L5640s, too. :) We really did corner the market on those things. (I've been tempted by the L5639s, but I'm resisting.)

edit: I think we're still missing a few [H]orde members. I'm pretty sure [H]K has one.

You would think that EVGA would show us some love, considering how effectively we put their products to use. How about some [H]ard EVGA discounts on the purchase of some more kit from EVGA?
