[H] favicon?

The [H] favicon isn't showing up for me in both the address bar and as a Bookmark icon. I don't know if it's because of yesterday's craziness or what, or if it's something on my end. All of my other bookmarks have one though.

But maybe...

"The favicon is what caused yesterday's fiasco!" :p


EDIT: In retrospect, I have a feeling I should've just PMed Kyle. My apologies if such is true.
 
I just installed FF2 at work yesterday. Usually you drag the URL to the bookmark tab and then click on it to refresh, and it should replace the default blank document icon with the site's favicon. It's still default for me.

I think it's cached or saved somewhere in Firefox, and so if you already had it, it'll probably stay even if it isn't loading properly from the server. Who knows. Might be me for some reason.
 
This reminds me to ask something similar. Any idea why on both of my computers the [H] logo shows up on my www.orlandoforums.com bookmark? I assume its Firefox since the GameFaqs logo shows up on another nonGF page. This has happened since I started using FF back in .6 or .7
 
That's weird. I don't think I've ever had a mismatched favicon, and I've been using Firefox for several years and updating whenever updates are available.

I have the [H] favicon working properly at home. Maybe I could try reinstalling Firefox here at work.
 
To be honest, the only [H] favicon that works for me is [H]ardFolding.

Both HardOCP and HardForum are the FF default. They have been that way forever for me.

EDIT: I just tried dragging the link to my bookmarks toolbar and then refreshing. That works. Thanks. :D

Heh. I wish I could try that again, but it doesn't even show up in the address bar. No idea why it's only the [H] that isn't showing up.
 
Best I can tell you is that it comes and goes...it's been that way on my computer(s) for many years with no explaination of why or when it will appear or disappear. I wish I could tell you more, but that's about it.:)
