It's being worked on. One of the database servers crapped out. :(

Same reason the forum was dog-slow for a bit, I guess?
Slow? The forum has been down twice in the past week for several hours each time.

No, the database servers for the forum and the site are different. Also, I haven't noticed the forum being down or slow in the last week, and I usually keep them open on at least one monitor at all times.

Both times have been late at night. The VBulletin script lost connectivity to the database for several hours.

The forums have been inaccessible to me occasionally, but only at night. (8PM + EST)

'bout 3 hours ago, I had ~15 sec stall before the page loaded (back to normal now)

I thought the servers themselves were different, but didn't know if it could have been a host issue, too.

Wouldn't you know it, right after I posted, the forums went down. :)

Yeah, I haven't been on much past midnight lately, so I can't say.

I've had problems with slow loads....but ran my spyware software and rebooted......back to normal

The forums have really been slammed lately with the online members and guests online going over 1100 at times, that tends to slow even the mightiest of web sites to a point. Much of the traffic is due to the Doom 3 guides and the discussion of what hardware is needed to run it. It will ease off a bit and we will get into a more normal routine soon.

I still see over 100 people viewing the gaming forum every time I've looked. Since D3 came out, it hasn't lowered past 100.
