Just read a review over on PureOC and it seems like a decent card for budget SLI. All my mobos are crossfire capable but I prefer to run NV for obvious folding reasons. Question is do these dual GPU's fold? I thought I read somewhere quite awhile ago that there was problems with SLI and F@H, is this still true? I want to step up to 3 monitor goodness but don't want to switch over to Radeons and lose [H]orde production.

No problems anymore with folding, the NVIDIA drivers still let CUDA stuff access both GPUs separately even with SLI enabled. Would still require two clients, -gpu 0 and -gpu 1, though.

Only issue I have with GTX460 2WINs are that you can't SLI two of them for quad SLI. Just hurts your upgrade path compared to the usual Dual-GPU cards.

There was a recent post where someone had issues still with SLI enabled. The fix is simple just disable SLI while folding and enable it when needed.

SLI enabled or disabled seems to have no effect wiht recent drivers.

$400 is a lot to pay for that card though. You can get a GTX580 for only $20-$30 more.

A 1GB GTX 460 is $140 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130570 so you'd be better off spending $120 toward a new mobo that supports SLI and buy two of those. I'm sure they'll clock higher being separate than two GPUs smashed together.

I suppose the only person that this card really works for is somebody like toconator who has an AMD mobo but wants to maximize PPD.
