coincidentally, that's probably when you would want this model. multi-gpu multi-monitor gaming.

is there a point to run this card by it self? 3gb of vram doesn't do you any good on a single monitor. you need 3 monitors, and to do that you need 2 of these gpus. so how much will that cost you?

because they only had one card. you need two in sli to run tri monitors (dont remember what nvidia calls it).

Actually, can Nvidia do more than three displays? I know AMD can do six...
