Below is what I came up with. I don't need something that will shred any game on the marker. I just want something very reliable that I can play msot mmos on med/full settings.
ASUS DVD Burner
I could care less if it has a burner, as long as its black and matches the case.
Cooler Master Storm Scout
The cable routing is a must
WD Caviler Blue
(capacity is not an issue for me)
ASUS M4A87TD EVO AM3
No real reason for choosing this other than I'm using it in my current build and I'v never had a problem with it.
Eveva GeForce GTX 570
Highly recommended by a friend - I dont have the money to SLI at the moment
Raidmax Hybrid 730W
not wild about the blue neon but I love the modular cables and I'm afraid anything under 700W wouldn't be enough?
CORSAIR Vengeance 4GB
Always heard Corsair was the best ram so I figure Ill give it a shot.
AMD Phenom II
AMD seems to be a better bang for buck overall? Maybe Im wrong.
Zalman 120MM
Had this in a previous build and loved it. Rand quiet and seemed to get the job doen. I am will to downgrade if possible.

What's the max resolution of your monitor?

Below is what I came up with. I don't need something that will shred any game on the marker. I just want something very reliable that I can play msot mmos on med/full settings.

This is not worth the extra $5 once you factor in shipping over this DVD burner:

Not a good choice as it has limited cable routing and is relatively cramped for a case of that cost. Take a look at these other cases instead:

Depending on the max resolution of that monitor, that GPU may be stupid overkill or just right.

The problem is that you chose a PSU that's not even capable of 500W let alone 730W. So definitely ditch this PSU. Now if you really do want modular cables, this is the cheapest modular PSUs that I can recommend that can still power your system:
$110 - SeaSonic M12II 620 Bronze 620W Modular PSU
$120 - Corsair 650HX 650W Modular PSU

Now if you don't need modular cables, then I recommend this PSU:
$85 - Corsair 650TX V2 650W PSU

Not a good choice at all for the money. An extra $15 gets you twice as much RAM while retaining the same per RAM performance:

Unfortunately you are indeed wrong when it comes to this CPU: Even though it costs $20, the Intel Core i5 2400 provides a better bang for the buck than the AMD Phenom II X6 1090T. Greater gaming performance, trailing not too far behind the X6 in video/media encoding/rendering applications, and uses significantly less power and therefore less heat.

Not that great for the money. This Coolermaster HSF actually outcools that Zalman while being quieter and cheaper:

I agree with Danny Bui: In fact, I cannot recommend a PSU that cannot deliver its advertised wattage regardless of price. That Raidmax PSU is one of many that can barely deliver two-thirds of their advertised wattage without going way out of spec on the DC output quality.

And even though the 320GB WD Blue is a single "500GB" platter that's been short-stroked to 320GB, the smaller-capacity WD Blue hard drives have had significantly slower access speeds than most other 7200 RPM hard drives. The slower access speeds make that particular Blue less suitable as an OS drive than most of the other 7200 RPM hard drives.

And not all current 22"-class LCD widescreen monitors have a native resolution of 1080p (1920x1080): Some of them that are still on the shelves have a native resolution of only 1680x1050 or (gasp!) 1600x900.

Finally, at that price point AMD's hexa-core CPUs actually underperform Intel's quad-core CPUs in general usage (including gaming). Very few mainstream applications even today can fully utilize even a quad-core CPU, let alone a hexa-core CPU.

Only thing different I recommend different is this RAM over the RAM that Danny recommended.

He is 100% right though. You will not see any real world performance difference between DDR3 1333 and DDR3 1600, but the 1600 is cheaper right now.

Based off the info that you guys have given me this is what I have. Since I switched to intel I need a suggestion for a new MB. I've also decided to take your advice and go with a better PS. I'd love to stay with something modular but if its impossible to get with my budget I understand. My budget for both is around $150-170$

Just go with a 650- to 750-watt class PSU. Be aware, however, that many of the cheaper PSUs in that advertised wattage range are crappy or even shitty in quality. Good-quality 650W units, especially modular ones, do not come cheap.
