Why do you care so much? As long as you are getting a good gameplay experience just play the damn game. Let your hardware do it's job.
it is not doing its job right. that is why I want to know and learn. this is part of the fun, not just game.

Fox, what kind of mobo, cooler, and stepping on that Q66.
I'm curious since I'm running an evga 680i SLi LT, B3, stock cooler. I tried overclocking to 2.7ghz, and it worked fine, but I got scared and put it back down. I manage only 55c load(After about 6 hours of encoding x264 video). I've been considering trying to overclock recently.
From what I've read, the 680i does not do well with overclocking quads.
but SC2 used to use 100% of my old GTX250, but not GTX 460
