I don't like how they jump past 1920x1200 resolution, I have to imagine there are quite a few 24" monitor gamers out there.

I'm with ya there, but you can at least extrapolate half way in between the to resolutions for a guestimate.
 
Did they do that Crysis benchmark staring at a wall? I would love to get thirty fps on my 8800GT on medium with no AA at that res.
 
These benches are confirmed inaccurate by their maker on XS (w1zzard of TechPowerUp).
 
Yeah these benchmarks must have been performed in low gravity or something as these scores are stratospheric. I have a 9800 GX2 currently in my sig rig till my just ordered 280's get here and there's no way it performs like these benchies.

At any rate, I think tomorrow when we get the real numbers from real places like the [H] we are going to see a card that is going to make the 9800 GX2 look bad where it counts, high resolutions and and high settings.

I my have bought $1400 worth of junk on the other hand but at the same time nothing is going to beat 2 280's except three for a while.
 
anyone else notice that at high res and/or high AA, the 280 in those numbers jumps to 100%+ the frame rate of the 9800 OC?
 
The G92 is notorious for being bad at high res and AA so that's why I was dissapointed they didn't test this against the G80GTX or Ultra or GX2 at the least (because the Ultra beats the 9800GTX at higher res and settings due to bandwidth it seems)
 
Three hours until H[review] comes out. Until that most of this stuff is probably a load of horse****. No one even bothered listing the min and average fps especially the min because thats what is really important. I could care less about avg 50 fps just running around if i get barely 5 fps in midst of action.

where is the statement made that the review will be released at 12 midnight EST?
 
I am very much looking forward to H's review. Feels like waiting for Christmas morning :).

9:00 AM EDT sharp. nVidia probably wants the numbers out sooner rather than later because I think they see the 280 taking a bit of a beating in RumorSpace and nVidia wants to set the record straight. As of tomorrow I think anyone who games at higher resolutions and settings is going to want this card if they are not put off by the price.

Awww I was expecting for the review to be out right after 12. Damnit now this means I have to go to sleep.
