Gripes with Elder Scrolls IV

It takes longer to sell two items than it does to sell one or three.

Trilinear filtering would have helped. Or shaders.

You can use horses at low levels to tank for you, but they're useless other than that. Is there a high level horse that offers advantages worth the effort?
Oh. I haven't bought a horse yet because I'm still using that horse you get for free at the beginning of the game. I didn't even know there were different speeds of horses.

I'm now on a quest to get me a house so I can store all my goodies and to buy a faster horse.

Has anyone done the quest were you have to find the amulet for the queen of Bruma? That quest angered me because I trapse all over the country to find this amulet for her and I expect some awesome reward and the bitch gives me a ring. Then I try to buy the house that she has for sale and thinking she'll give me a decent deal after going all over god's green earth to get an artifact for her she tells me that she wants $10k for the house. I just about heat waved her ass. I'm thinking I'm gonna sneak intot he castle in the middle of the night and steal the amulet back.

Horses are pointless, dont even bother buying one unless youve already mastered athletics. Athletics and acrobatics are very useful, especially later on and riding a horse just reduces your opportunity of increasing them.

I have a horse. Its a slow one. But I don't seem to have a problem improving my athletics and acrobatics skills. Mainly because I'm always jumping off of or onto stuff. My favorite places to jump are in cities that have bridges. I jump off the bridges. I also like Bruma, I jump off those ledges and onto the rooftops of buildings. Its great fun. Especially when I get to jump off of rooftops onto guards heads and have them say, "What is the meaning of this?!?1" I always laugh and say to the screen, "I just jumped on your head fool."

And if I'm not jumping around like an idiot; I'm running around the streets of the cities like a madman. I very rarely walk. Its too slow.

Also, why the heck can't I take my horse INSIDE the city?? Its a pain in the ass having to dismount to walk across a city then to walk all the way back to my horse on the south end of it when my objective is on the north side.

because it would shit in the city, can't have shit sitting around Tamriel , then a beggar might slip in it, break a leg and sue the city for all its worth.

:D

Personally I think you people need a life :) lol , the game is great, it follows Arena/Daggerfall/Morrowind and is JUST like them yet different enough and better enough to be considered a great sequel.

stop nitpicking, stop cheating and stop trying to finish the game in 2 days just so you can bitch and moan about it being so easy that you finished in 2 days

There is so much to do, so much to explore, tons of side quests etc... I've read this entire thread and few of you shouldn't be playing RPGs as you obviously miss the point of them.

Eh your athletics will adventually increase, anyways I just bought a fast black horse, and It kinda helpfull that it follows you around to the nearest stable and to what I can tell increases fast travel speed, besides that running around on a horse is just fun for me anyways. (I still do running around unless I'm going to a nearby location that I want to get to fast)
