I'm looking to upgrade my video card situation as I'm going to be getting a 27" 1440p Hi Res Monitor for Xmas and I think I am gonna need some more gpu horsepower.
I currently have a 6970 and also a 7870 (Both in seperate pcs) Should I upgrade to a new card completely like a 7970? or get another 6970 or 7870? I figure I could buy a 7950-7970 for about $200 used and less for the 2nd 7870 or 6970. I dont need the highest possible frame rates but not sure if Id be getting a bigger bang for my buck going crossfire or getting a new card all together. I really dont play any really demanding games currently but if I do decide to I'd like to have a comfort zone and still be able to play new games. Any help would be great Thanks.
