One of my two folding machines is running the GPU2 client on a 8800GT. I often get EUEs that result in the client going offline for 24 hours at a clip.
My question is: Will a new GTX 460 fall prey to this same issue?
I have an 8800GT I had to downclock the memory to 600MHz in order for it to fold.
pvieh, I'm wondering if the low memory of 256MB on your card might be causing a problem. Depending on the WU, my 8800GT will use anywhere between 246MB and 275MB of memory.
I use GPU-Z and EVGA Precision. Is there a VRAM memory monitoring utility that will work under Win7 64 bit? RivaTuner won't read my VRAM usage on this machine.

By chance, do you ever connect to this machine with RDP?
I googled a Win7 sidebar gadget that looks promising: GPU Monitor v3.5

I get EUEs sometimes, but never that many. Looking at my current HFM.NET stats, I've done 803 WUs across 8 cards with only 3 EUEs. If your temps are fine, then it sounds like you have a bad card.
You might see if you can RMA it, or if you want to use it for something else, a new card should not have the same issues when folding.
