Alright so I am going to buy a 6800GT when I can get my hands on one for a good price but I dont know if my system is fast enough to support it.

P4 2.6HT
ASUS P4P8X motherboard
512mb DDR

I also want to OC this card

your system is fast enough, i would consider slapping in another 512 of memory when you have the chance, then youll have a top of the line system...have fun

Agreed on the memory. Desert Combat cut load times in half going from 512MB to 1 Gig. Now I get the good planes first.

Chances are that you don't need more memory. You'd be better off with a video card if you're gaming.

True, if his RAM is only in one stick now.... If he's running 2x256, he'll see very little improvement going to 2x512 or 2x256 + 1x512...
