Hey a little bird dropped off a am3 945, however I have not used amd stuff since s939. I was wondering which board I would need to test this out.

AM3s aren't going to be seen in wild for a couple of months, at least. The board manufacturers haven't announced any AM3 boards and until they do, AMD isn't going to be in any hurry to activate the DDR3 portion of the IMC.......somebody's BSing!
wachu talking about willis? they are due for release any moment and i am sure AMD has good stock to sell in the beginning and they in a week or two they will start pouring like hotcakes. months? doubt it

The am2+ boards support am3, just needs a bios update in most cases.
Understood. I have two SB750 boards with bios' updated for AM2+/AM3 CPUs. I was refering to new boards which support DDR3.....
