This is NOT a poll on which game you think is better NO. This is a poll in an all out fight against the two. Lets say their universes came together and they had to wage in an all out fight. Who do you think would honestly win. My friend and I are having a debate on it and I vote Master Chief. Thanks for your time and opinions!
 
Master chief starts the game with a shitty little plastic space pistol.

Gordon starts the game with a crowbar. A FUCKING CROWBAR. Because gordon is a crazy fuck.

Master would piss his suit pass out and drown in it before the match started.

Well Gordon being on a PC, he will be more powerful than some weak console hero.
 
I don't understand how anyone could pick the Chief. Gordon would destroy him.
 
Now that I think on it Gordon would win for any number of reasons

1.Gordon is able to view the battle in 1080p where as Master is chief is essentially blind at 480p
(even today Chief is still 720p where as Gordon has eyefinity. )

2.Gordon can equipment more than 2 weapons.

3.Gordon has had a lifetime of rationing health packs and would better manage his health in battle. Master Chief has to hide behind a rock every 30 seconds hoping Gordon is a complete idiot.

4.Gordon wears an environmental protection suit, Master chief wears a ninja turtle costume and a dirt bike helmet.

5.Gravity Gun

6.Gordon has a better shot with Alyx than Chief has with his hologirlfriend.

7. Master chief doesn't have any friends. Gordon has Barney and a robot dog that can lift a building.

8.Super Gravity gun.

The only thing Master chief has on Gordon is the Warthog. but, he can't even shoot it while he's driving.
So, Gordon still wins because he can use the Gravity gun on it.

Master Chief is like a super soldier that although is much better than the rest, he have to do battle in whatever situation he's in

Gordon Freeman has this G Man to place him in strategic time and place where he can win the battle:eek: Gordon will definitely win.
 
Reading this thread makes me sad (& a tad rageful)...

I want to see how the Half-Life storyline continues & maybe ends with "The Free Man" (as the Vortigaunts call him).
 
An all out battle would probably end with Chief winning. He was MADE for war. He's superhuman.

Gordon's only advantage would be the gravity gun.

Master Chief's suit & weapons are metal. Either the gravity gun or the super gravity gun would own MC quick.
 
I picked freeman because he can simply move faster. He'd dodge Mr. Slow-Cooker Chef's attacks, jump behind him and as McChewy Breath slowly turns around Gordon would slap him with a crowbar in the neck rendering him unconscious. Freeman would then take the gravity gun out and pull out his wanker. Cheif wakes up crying and kills himself.

As soon as the chief would jump like a fairy all slow-like, before he lands Gordon would have strategically placed a crowbar so that when the chief lands, he'd get impaled. Plus, I hate the navy, so I guess I'm biased to begin with...
 
Gordon is cool on that 'geek' level, but I much prefer the mystic of Master Chief. How can Gordon even stack up against? MC is an elite Spartan, super human killing machine.

Wait what... Gordon can move faster than a Spartan with split second reaction times, that are only faster with an AI in his head?
 
Doom Marine kills both of them with a super shotgun while running 50 MPH.

IME Yes. Does anyone disagree with me on this?

I admit it's been a while since I played either game, but I did play them within the same year, and Halo just seemed like molasses in comparison.

Based on the games MC is a bit slower but if you read the novels MC is an insanely fast super spartan with crazy acrobatics and split second reaction times. but give Gordon a Gravity gun and He's pretty much nothing, unless he can get behind Gordan and snap his neck, which probably wouldnt be much of an issue cause MC is a beast.

Well they can both sprint, but Gordon can bunny hop for added boost. Gordon can react faster as he is not hindered by chubby joysticks but rather the freedom of a mouse or any other peripheral.
