Reuters is reporting that an Indian antitrust ruling that found Google guilty of search bias has Alphabet scared. In February the Competition Commission of India slapped Google with a fine for $20 million for abusing it's position in online web search. According to a document reviewed by Reuters, Google is claiming that "without appellate scrutiny would cause Google irreparable reputational loss" while seeking a stay on the ruling. Aww. Poor Google. I feel bad.. Don't you feel bad? Fine should have been $20 billion and a kick in the junk for search bias. "If Google is restricted from entering into certain types of contracts while the appellate review is conducted, Google will be irreparably harmed," the company said in the plea, without elaborating.
