What are your memorable moments from 2005 in our little [H]ard|Family?

Some things I like looking back are:

All the new contests
All the new people we have gathered into the family to help find a cure
Bad 'chops... and lots of them...
How we have come together as a team to support each other, and fold [H]arder then ever.

If only there was a way to track how many points we gained this past year.. maybe a task for the new year?

For 2006 I hope that we are able to get up to 600k PPD average for the F@H Team.

I hope we get some more people folding for our UD team, and give them some spotlight time as well. For myself, I will be putting up at least one of my boxen to UD, and maybe more will follow in the future.

Now its your turn...

It's definitely been a great year from all the contests to giveaways and every little event in between. By far the best thing about this year has been how we've continued to grow as a team. Lots of new faces, and lots of old faces doing new things. :D

I'd like to wish everyone a Happy New Year's, and a prosperous start to 2006!

For me it has been a great 6 monthes here. Getting the news spot, meeting all of you, starting to fold.

I really feel blessed and lucky to have such great friends and one of the best jobs on the net. :)

And the fact that we took first place really means alot to me too.

[H]NY [H]orde!

Looking back, ahhh I forget.

For some of us, it's pretty easy to tell how many points were put up in '05. Plus ~250k+ for "others".

Looking forward, I'm not sure. Things for me the past few months have been kinda slow the the FAH boxen front, I'm thinking about borging all production boxen. I've kinda been waiting for v. 6 of the FAH client since this is alot of work on my part (one at a time). Only real hold up is Stanford sending out WU's of any type to any config. No good.

Been thinking about lighting up some UD action again, honestly for no other reason than to have more points then Moose. I think he is ~250k+ points in UD, should be able to do that in a few weeks.

Been thinking about doing my own contest of sorts, not sure. I assume I'd need to talk with the contest committee, blah blah. :)

I'd like to get a good foot hold in the [H] FAH top 10, ~ top 75 on the official listings or higher I guess. 2mil points in '06 sounds like a place to start.

edit: another 2 mil would put me in the top 25 Stanford listing :D

<snip>.
The potential for a local "[H]orde" meet.
My inabality to attend.

Although I continued to fold throughout 2005, I didn't track my boxen nor visit this forum until late December. The good news for 2005 was returning to the forum and discovering that the [H]orde was about to regain the #1 spot, and that this forum continues to be supportive and helpful. Nice going!

For 2006 I'd like to redouble my efforts to recruit new folders, recommending Team #33 of course! And, perhaps hit 2kk.

Best to all in 2006!

Here is to 2006. May we be [H]arder then ever, keep the lead and fold on as a team in every aspect.

Everyone, new guys and old guys did a hell of a job pulling it together for a common cause and for that I thank everyone.

Thank you Kyle for all your support. Thanks to the mods for understanding that goes beyond reason. And finally:

Happy New Year to all :)

A fellow Folding GenMay'er! :D

2005? It had me starting and stopping folding (somehow getting -1 point in the process), and starting back up in FULL swing, back up to my 1,000PPD glory, on my way to 2,000 if I can find it.

2006 to bring? Hopefully more local folders (and borgs, though I have plenty)...and possibly a circuit breaker flip on this old apartment's electrical once I reach my limit. :D And possibly a network expansion because my router's built-in switch is currently full and needs more, from having all open but one before I started folding. I'd like to break 500,000 points before year's end. Wish me luck.

Full Folding Ahead!

Look at that..I managed to enter 2006 with a day of zero production.

Well...according to EOC.

I'd have to say the best thing about 2005 was the increadable support from the rest of the team. It still blows my mind that I was able to give away nearly $1500 in stuff this year.

Well Im hoping to get some better WUs' with more points. I just started Folding again but, have been getting WUs' with 45 points most of the time. Im at 1015 point so, I want to get out of the bottom of the barrel. Thats my goal for the year.

Yeah, the contests in 2005 were great. I've really enjoyed the gauntlets!

Goal for 2006 - top 50 on the team. :)
