Good Retailer For Low-Bandwidth Browsing?

Hello, all!

I am teaching a computer class (15-20 students/class) at a school with super low bandwidth (272kbps). I have been teaching them how to select computer parts, and am wanting to give them an assignment based on the information I have given.

Do any of you have suggestions for a website we can use that doesn't have a huge amount of pictures and fancy stuff? Particularly one that isn't dynamically generated (is that the correct term?) so that our pfSense server can cache the pages.

You mean an online computer hardware store? If so, I can't think of any that would your requirements.

I ended up deciding on Microcenter... Not a whole lot of fancy stuff on their site.

Thanks for the recommendation, though! That'd be a great idea (would download the PDF version) if it included all of the specifications for products.
