This is the system I hope to get:

2gb ddr2 800
300gb hdd
EN8800GTX
E6600

Between the 975x and 680i chipsets, which would be better for me? I will be looking to OC the cpu as much as I can, and I will only be using one EN8800GTX throughout this build's life span.

The 975X is what I'd get. A little cheaper than the 680i and if you're not using SLI, it doesn't seem to be worth going 680i at this point over an Intel chipset. I'd look at the Intel Bad Axe 2 personally. You can get them under $200 if you shop around.

i just sold my 975 board (P5WDH-DELUXE) and got an Asus Commando (965) and its much better. Faster at stock speeds and much better at overclocking. You wont regret getting one.

NP, was just looking at mobos myself and had that page open hehe :), also trying to decide between 680i / intel :(

I think the 975X will treat you better in the long run if you have no plans of going SLI as it is a faster chipset.
