So just got my Brix Pro i7 yesterday. I installed the following:

-Kingston HyperX 2x8gb DDR3L
-Samsung SSD 850 EVO mSATA 250gb SATA 3
-Hitachi 1TB 7200 rpm SATA 3 HDD.
-USB keyboard and mouse
-connected via HDMI to a 32" HDTV

I have a Windows 7 Pro bootable USB ready to installed, but when I first fired it up, the BRIX would turn on for a few seconds with the fan starting to gain speed (and some clicking noise happens) then shuts off. Then turns back on and does the same thing, then shuts back off. It does this infinately (I only left it there doing that for 3-4 times). I upplugged it re-seated everything inside RAM, SSD, HDD, but same thing.

Anyone experienced this issue with a BRIX or other PC before?

Either the brix motherboard is DOA or theres something wrong with your components. Try whether you can get in the BIOS if you remove HDD and SSD and only boot with 1 stick of RAM. If it still doesn't POST then it is probably DOA.

Ok, tried removing everything and just leaving the 1 stick of RAM and still the same thing. Tried it with the other stick of of RAM, still the same thing. Tried it with no RAM, same thing. So I guess, this is a dead MOBO. I am currently in the processes of returning it to the seller. Man this sucks... all the waiting ... and now more waiting.

Thanks.
