Gigabyte 3D1 is up 4 Grabs!

Bleh, $550.

Someone could just buy a top of the line AGP or PCI-E card for the same price and get much better performance. That needs to cost around $450 to be a good option.

bleh....if I had that money...I would spend it on one 6800gt and a good motherboard

All it is is 6600GT's in SLI. You can do that cheaper I'd think (and get a real motherboard to boot :p ).

I have a customer who want's a 3D1 and that's what the man is going to get.

I was going to joke and ask if you had decided to start collecting NVIDIA hardware also now :p

It's related in a way- Someone has some rare 3dfx pieces and the price for them is a 3D1 setup.

Ahhhh......well let's see what I can find on a price for that then.

http://www.xpcgear.com/gigabytegv3d1.html 527.99 before shipping....but not the same calibre retailer as the egg.

Chiefvalue has it also but more than the egg.

So looks like it is going to be in the 530+ range. Good luck. Post some pics of what you get for it.
:D

Thanks for the heads up, I have a few days to look around before having to make the purchase.

Will do on the items, some pretty wild stuff coming my way, some of it has never been seen in public before =)

I bought my A8N-SLi Deluxe for $183 and my eVGA 6800GT PCI-Express for $375, which is $558 before tax. Therefore, I see no reason not to spend the $8 extra for so much more.

That is single VSA-100 chip board build date 44-99 (late October 99)

One of the very first Voodoo 4/5 series made, maybe out of the first batch of 12.

Newegg was fine, the price differences are not that great when you factor in shipping and they have excellent service.
