Hey guys,

Gemini has had a fun time producing water blocks, unfortunately we are not setup to compete in this type of market dynamic. I've been sitting here on a large final production run for over six months. We have a significant number of blocks that will never be sold. Rather than send these units to the scrap yard for recycling, I thought I'd offer them here to the community, at huge savings.

The Lord has truly blessed me and my family. I have much sympathy for the trials that the victims of the Tsunami have endured. Consequently, as we sell the remaining water blocks all money collected from those sales, less shipping and handling, will go toward a charity involved giving aid to the Tsunami Victims in the name of Jesus Christ.

Over the next few days, I will be working on updates to the www.geminicool.com website. I will setup a pay pal account and as we sell the remaining inventory I will keep a running total of money collected on the site.

Could you please give me some feedback as to 'reasonable' pricing? As I said, Gemini is not looking to make or recover ANY money from this transaction. Would $5.00 a water block be too little? What is reasonable?

Will it be JUST the blocks? What about the resevoirs/radiators/etc? I'd like to help you out, but I got my H20 rig up and running last week. I can always plumb a resevoir in though.

I would say 5$ a block is a little low, maybe 10-15$. It is for a good cause, and that low a price you will still sell out pretty quick.
 
i agree with Erasmus, $10-15 would go quite a bit further in raising money as they're sure to be lapped (pun intended) up even at that price.

Hey all,

Well it has taken me longer than anticipated to gather all the info. I have updated the www.geminicool.com website to begin giving you an idea of the variety of product we had developed.

Some info:
Tsunami CPU cores can be used w/ either the P4 or AMD Tops. The P4 Lexan tops are 3/8" and square. If you have a new MB with different mounting holes you can easily drill the Lexan for proper mounting.

Tsunami GPU cores can use any of the Tsunami GPU tops. So if you switch from a GF4 to a Radeon, simply buy a new top. I have not done ANY experimentation with the new NVidia series. The Al tops all seal using an Oring, so it's a very easy mod. The Lexan tops all seal using RTV, still pretty easy.

I have about 45 blocks new in boxes w/ all mounting hardware and instructions
I have about 40 bocks assembled these will come with whatever hardware we have in remaining
I have over 100 other components. From copper CPU tops for AMD style Cpus, to Copper plates that bolt onto the Mega Tsunami block for peltier use. We even were working on prototype Nylon tops w/ oring seals. You can boil the Nylon in water use some food coloring dye and change it's color!

Gemini was preparing to launch a complete lineup with interchangeable components when the bottom dropped out of the market for us. So enjoy this stuff... it's been lots of fun building for you!
