The folks at NVIDIA send word that the new GeForce 334.67 beta drivers are now available. You can download the drivers directly or through GeForce Experience.

Headline features include a dozen new and improved 3D Vision profiles, reinforcing our commitment to stereoscopic 3D gaming, as well as the latest SLI profiles for games like HearthStone and Assassin's Creed Liberation HD. And as always, numerous tweaks and changes are introduced to ensure maximum performance and system stability across all titles.

SLI
  • Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD – Created profile (download through GeForce Experience)
  • Gas Guzzlers – created profile
  • HeartStone: Heroes of Warcraft – created profile

Take it back. 334.67 beta is no better than 332.21.

332.21 has useless Battlefield 4 frame rates that drop down to single digit 6 fps.

331.82 has the same issue as 332.21 and on top of that it'll randomly disconnect one of the GPUs on a dual-GPU card.

331.65 has usable Battlefield 4 frame rates but scrolling Google Maps and Street View in Chrome is extremely laggy.

Nvidia drivers seem horrible compared to AMD with newly acquired R9 270X.

There must be another reason for this? 332.21 works flawlessly for me in BF4 on my GTX 680.
Easily both true, but in self centered world with some sorta weird existentialism the problem only does or does not exist if it does or does not exist to me.

That's been fixed for a couple of drivers...I have a 560ti that randomly locked up...once they pulled their head out, there is absolutely no problems at all now...:)

Yeah, don't worry, it's an extreme AMD fan who pretends to know what he's talking about. He doesn't own an nvidia card so he obviously doesn't have experience with any of those drivers, every one of those releases were more or less fine for me in BF4. Aside from the game specific issues due to EA rushing the game out, those have -mostly- abated for me with the latest several patches.

Anyone using this driver for BF4 yet? 332.21 gave me crashes & lowered my fps in Bf4 as well as breaking shadowplay. Using 331.93 with no problems at the moment but I like having the latest drivers if possible.

Also, I have AC: Liberation HD. It seems to work fine with SLi. What exactly does this driver add a profile for? Is it just for this game to have different SLi rendering methods and that's it? Say the default one doesn't work for a game etc.

My 560ti started to crash windows explorer when I try to click on a drives properties tab. If I remove the nvidia drivers I have no problems. I'll try these and see what happens.

didn't fix BF4 from being a horrible mess. $650 on a GPU and can only play on medium settings with huge frame dips and stutters.

at what resolution and what settings?.. i do not have any single problem in BF.. =/. and remember that BF4 its fully of bugs and problems.. every patch that BF4 receive just make it worse.. so not all are only drivers.. I play at 1080P ultra settings except POST AA (i do not like the shitty Blurry aspect) FOV at 85..and I play flawlessly locked at 60FPS..

1440p resoultion. didn't seem to change much from ultra-->medium. the same stuttering/frame drops are still there.

it seems pretty random. I mean in multiplayer I can see a guy, the frame can drop/freeze/stutter, and the next thing I see is that im dead... not fun at all

Are you always that ignorant and insecure that you have to downplay issues others are experiencing?

New drivers fixed the Chrome white screen of death that I was experiencing with 332.21 running on GTX 690.

I think what your seeing there is MP issue with syncing between players is off . (meaning if you could view screen from same time on each player you see different things ).

This gives you players killing you when either seems behind a object or just one shot but you may see shooting entire mag before you see him killed .

I am on 331.82 and seems smooth with high settings for most except FSAA, none .
but I don't run 1440p

Run great here with 780 oc, at 1440p, bf4 win 8... The only map that have wtf slowdown is Shanghai when the tower is down in the middle of the map, apart from that I am getting great fps (with 2xmsaa)

ooooooo is that what is causing that Chrome issue?!?!

I'm running those 332.21 drivers too. Never did make the mental link between the driver update the issue appearing...

Oddly enough I just did the EDID override trick to make the NV CP think my HDMI TV is an old Zalman ZM-M240W connected with DVI to get 3D to work as well as downsampling from 1440 @ 105 so this is great as I might try some 3D games on it. :p

No issues with these either. BF4 fine and never get fps dips on 64 player Conquest Large maps. Never had issues with their drivers even the 320.xx ones.

I use 2 reference 680's SLI on Win 8.1 x64 latest updates.

Huh. Well I guess its just my PC for some unknown reason. I tried everything, even did regedits to unpark cores, turned off my AV, everything I could possibly think of.

Is it just me or is there no HD Audio driver in the package now?

I'll see how things go for my GTX570 and all the TDR's I was getting through all the 33x.xx run. Started getting a ton of TDR's after fresh install of 8.1. Even on 332.21 WHQL's.

Only success I had in beating the TDR's has been disabling the HD Audio controller in System Devices of Device Manager. Got almost none after that!

What CPU are you using?. And the only possible option i think its just a fresh install.. My brother had similar problems moving from a 7870XT to his 770 and earlier i saw similar issues in one of my work machines from a HD6950 to one of my oldies 660TI... Only solution was just reinstall windows with fresh drivers..

No issues in none of my machines at home.. With several NV cards from 500 series to 700 series.. All with audio working.. Where did you download the driver at?.. Some people have issues with the download throught GF experience.. (I always download from the NV site)

Same. Kinda. 780 Ti @ 1221/7800, 1080P Lightboost 120hz. I wouldn't say great FPS, maybe good.

Remember that TDRs can be caused by many things, from various hardware issues to malware.

I had that problem. Have you tried unparking your cpu cores? Worked like magic for me, stuttering mess, to smooth as butter.

--edit--
Sorry , just reading now that you already tried that.

I don't use GF Exp. and download updates manually from Nvidia.com

Remember that TDRs can be caused by many things, from various hardware issues to malware.

I was running this hardware since august and it wasn't until I did a fresh install (around late december 2013) of Win 8.1 x64 the TDR issue cropped up (win8 iso then download the 8.1 update).

Even in my notes I noted no problems with TDR's using 326.80 Beta and anything prior as I was tracking another issue for random BSOD's that has been resolved with the lastest F8D beta bios for my Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD4H-CF motherboard.

All my hardware has been at stock clocks and can still get TDR's and I know its not a hardware failure at this point. Biggest run I've had without TDR's has been from 1/19 to 1/28 this month and all attributed from Disabling the HD Audio Controller and no MSI Afterburner installed at all (wouldn't say Afterburner is the problem though)

These driver reintroduce the install BSOD, which was fixed last patch...yay, Nvidia!

Anyone witnessing the Chrome white screen flicker with hardware acceleration on ? it's been happening to me the last 2 drivers, and only with SLI if I don't run SLI it does not happen so I either run without hardware acc or use another browser.

I have an i7 2600k. I wouldn't reinstall windows just for BF4.

I did want to enjoy the game though :(

edit: did some testing with bf4's tool, im getting a lot of yellow spikes in their graph which means cpu. at that point i see the freezes. Not sure what to do with that.

Broke Nvidia Inspector's Multi Display Power Saver feature which shaves 75 watts off my idle temps.

Finally was able to install these drivers, but the only way I could was through safe mode in Windows 8.1 and then it didn't install the PhysX drivers (simply rebooted my PC to normal and found the .msi in and installed them).

I had hitchiness and fps drops in BF4 with these and Physx failed to install. Went back to 332.21 and no issues. Normally the beta drivers work well for me but I'm going to sit these out.

Funny how drivers can be so ridiculous across similar systems. BF4 actually felt smoother to me w/ these over the 332's, lol!

No issues with these drivers, and I find that it has dropped my temps on my 660 GTX Ti 2GB by 10'c on idle

The experience is going to be different across different generations of Nvidia cards. Seems anything current and previous generation are ok but older than that is going to be more miss than hit.

I would try using a driver cleaner utility before doing a full reinstall of Windows.
