A Geek Squad employee was arrested for spying on a customer while she was in the shower after planting a recording device (cell phone) in her bathroom. As you can imagine, a lawsuit has been filed.

A woman and her mother Wednesday sued Best Buy Stores after a technician from a computer company allegedly recommended by an employee of the electronics firm videotaped the woman taking a shower.

I hope she was HOT!! I mean smokin HOT!!

Download some porn next time buddy and get off that way..

Seriously. I think I'd notice a fucken random phone in my bathroom if it wasn't mine especially. Dumbass should of went to the Spy Shop :D

Who would hire an in-home technician to come and fix there computer, then decide it would be a good time for a hot steamy shower?? Is this not the premise Desperate Houswives is based on??

Cheers!

She does look desperate... I'm filming her in my head right now. :D

Hi I work for a team called the GEEK SQUAD I am here to fix your computer. Which way is the shower?

If this doesn't put an element of danger in in-home computer repair, nothing does. Even an unjustified accusation can kill ya, Best Buy has insurance and fat pockets...your typical mom and pop shop could be destroyed.

You're the first person to see it's an accusation. Note they are sueing Best Buy, and not the guy who they say did it; pretty clear this is a pure money grab. Meanwhile they just so happened to ask for their computer to be worked on, just so happened to take a shower when he got there, then luckily enough her little sister was there that knew just enough about phones to open it, locate, and remove the flash device yet not enough to access/use it. ("We had to take the 'chip' down to the verizon store and ask them how to look at it") Meanwhile we are to believe the computer guy was stupid enough to leave a blinking red light going while he pointed his camera cell phone right at her sitting on a desk in her room and think nothing of her maybe noticing.

Geez, what a country. There's the guy's pic along with the article, and he's ruined for life regardless of if he did it or not.

Whatever happened to "Guilty until proven innocent..."

What a country, indeed.

I would have rather asked her out then video tape her in the shower, lame. Lame squad will get a black eye for this one.

Ummm... You mean innocent until proven guilty?

His phone was hidden behind their sink pointing at the shower recording.

Exactly....not to mention that you can store videos and photos to the phone itself without a memory card...and how many video cameras do you see with blinking light that isn't on TV?

Whole thing is fishy

Did you read the article?

Chi was later arrested, the lawsuit stated. He and Geek Squad also are defendants in the lawsuit.

Eeasy for her to take the phone and stick it there.... make a quick buck.

However, I doubt that is the case. I don't know why he would use a cellphone of all things as they are traceable to somones account.

Pwnd!

This is some hilarious shit. People, read the article.

-The MOM went to Best Buy to get help and they hooked her up with Geek Squad.
-The Hottie daughter was in the shower.
-The Geek Squad Pervert tried to get his memory card back by trying to bribe them, saying he would give them a discount...WTF that's really the actions of an innocent man. lol

umm yeah if the woman planted it, i'm sure she'll be found out... i know you techies like to think you're the smartest guy on the block... but give the detectives that work on this type of stuff for a living a little credit, would ya?

This was funny. When I went to view the article the current advertisment on the right side was an ad for Geek Squad. :D

Yes, the article clearly states it isn't proven, that it's just an accusation (under his picture). I was referring to this thread though - I was post 12, I was agreeing with the guy in post 11 that the guy was just accused of it right now, nobody in posts 1-10 before that guy said maybe he's innocent though.(and what I said was "you're the first to see it's an accusation" in reply to post 11)

You ask if I read the article - but did you not read where they said "A woman and her mother Wednesday sued Best Buy Stores after..."? ONE of the claims of the suit is "intentional infliction of emotional distress". Who hear believes Best Buy sent this guy out there to do intentional infliction of emotional distress like their lawsuit claims? You can sue the guy for that if you wanted, but Best Buy certainly didn't intend for that to happen. You don't see that kind of claim as a money grab? "They are seeking general, compensatory and punitive damages."

Right, but you said the Geek Squad employee isn't being sued when in fact he is a defendant.

Obviously Best Buy didn't grab a Geek Squad employee and tell him to head over to her house and spy on her showering daughter. They wouldn't have known about the daughter, unless they were already spying. :p

Of course it's about money. It always is.

Bah, hate when you misspell a word because you're typing it too fast as a flow of thought then you didn't notice since it was actually a different word you spelled. I notice you can't edit posts under his subforum either unfortunately. No need to point out the misspelling though, I've seen it already. ;)

!!!!

advertisement for geeksquad on that news report...

hilarious... contextual ads ftw

i wouldn't call her [H]ot.... but she is pretty... wearing too much makeup for the news camera

Maybe we'll all request female geeksquad to come to our house and record our steamy hot shower.:D

Since when do cell phones have a blinking red light when they record video? And how the hell did a phone "behind the sink" take video of her through her shower curtain. Also, she never mentioned that she picked up the phone to see the video feed on the screen.

Also, how the hell would the girl, who is obviously not familiar at all with technology, know the phone even had a memory card, know the phone was recording to the memory card, and know how to locate the memory card, take it out. All phones will record to the phone memory by default, not the memory card, so this is not just some thing anyone would assume would happen. Why not just keep the phone and call the cops?

I don't know if the guy did it or not, but that girl sounded like she was making stuff up and the smiling while telling stories didn't make it any more believable.

wow reading that article got me thinking. first thought was im glad i dont have any daughters. second thought was where is this young lady's father? and why didnt he make mr geek squad pervo the next duk koo kim?

she wouldn't be wasting money on a lawyer if she was making it all up...

but i agree... she was definitely flattered by the guy recording her... thats how those types are

She probally isn't even paying for the lawyer. He probally took the case on Commission.

I think it is stupid that she is suing Best Buy, she should be suing the guy who did this, it isn't Geek Squad's fault he did it. Why can't people put blame in the right places these days?

He probably could have just copied her nudez from her My Documents. She looks like the type to take those....

el oh el tits.
