Gaming : WOW, SC2, COD and CS:GO

This is for another friend.

So title says it, I'm looking for hardware that will handle these game at 1080p with good quality. I know CS:GO is not out yet so just ignore it... but he will play this.

1) What will you be doing with this PC?
WOW, SC2, COD and CS:GO
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
$900-$1250 CAD with monitor
3) Where do you live?
Quebec, Canada
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget?
CPU, Mobo, GPU, Ram, PSU, Case, HDD, Monitor, optical
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.

I don't think so, he don't really know how.
7) What size monitor do you have and/or plan to have?
20-24" 1080p LED max 200$
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?

9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? etc.

10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If so, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?

Some of my thought, I can't decide the good one

I5 2320 $180 vs I5 2500K $220
GTX 560 vs GTX 560 TI vs GTX 570 (cheapest of each model)
then I guess a H67 with the 2320 and P67/Z68 with the 2500K
4gb or 8gb gskills

just tell me models name i need to choose, don't need to tell me price or combo, I'll do my research since I live in Canada

What i know is he dont care to put extra money so the computer last longer, because he will never update hardware, but maybe overclock but thats really notsure.

Go with the Core i5 2400 as it is clocked a little higher than the Core i5 2320 and should cost the same price.

Why Nvidia?

Motherboard wise, just go with the Gigabyte GA-Z68A-D3H-B3 Intel Z68 ATX Motherboard.

RAM wise, just make sure that the RAM is rated at 1.5V and DDR3 1333 RAM speeds and you'll be fine.

PSU wise, go for the Corsair 650TX V2 650W PSU. Note the "V2" in the name. Make absolutely sure that it has that moniker in the name or otherwise you just wasted money.

The 2400 is $15 more(195) from what ive seen in CAD$ and nvidia was just a starting point what would you take? Is it because nvidia is overpriced? And why z68 does he need some of these feature. Compared to a h67? I guess they are cheaper?

Non K quad core Sandy Bridge CPUs are partially unlocked.. meaning, the maximum multiplier for the 2400 linked above is 38, which means it can reach 3.8Ghz at stock BCLK(100), but that requires a motherboard with a chipset that allows overclocking(P67/Z68).. basically, as long as you stick to I5/I7 SandyB you want a P67/Z68 mobo for the(limited) overclock it allows

Regarding the PSU, the XFX Core 650 is internally the same, costs less and comes with four PCIe connectors versus the only two for the Corsair, the XFX is a far better deal.

Hmm odd. Then go with the 2130 I guess.

I would go with the HD 6950 1GB or GTX 560 TI. The TI should be cheaper than the HD 6950 1GB. If it costs more, than it's not worth it.

And why z68 does he need some of these feature. Compared to a h67? I guess they are cheaper?

Couldn't think of a H67 mobo that I could recommend that was cheaper than the Z68 mobo I recommended.

Either will work fine. But I definitely recommend 64.
