1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Hardcore gaming :)
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
$2000-2200 AUD.
3) Where do you live?
Australia, NSW for people who know.
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
PSU, CPU, GPU, RAM, Motherboard, Case the whole lot.

Not really.

I would like a 24" or proberly duel 22", as I have to fit it in my bedroom.

Buying the parts on the 9th, Sunday.

What's the best for gaming?

Hey guys, This will be my first Gaming PC. I think I know what I want, but this is where I need your help.

I only know nVidia. But I was looking at some Radeon.

I need to stick in my budget really as close as possible guys.

This is what I got in mind, I know CD drive etc. I also wouldnt mind putting a H70 CPU Cooler in if I got money left over from monitor/periphials..

Please wait for the i7 2600K. You should be able to buy these new CPU's by the end of the month. The i7 2600 has the same price as the i7 950 but with much better performance.
 
where are you buying your parts from.. Us spec'ing you a system from newegg would be worthless so you need to specify as your not in the US
 
wow! Let's see $1USD=$0.9958AUD. So a 6950 sells for $390 USD! I got mine for $280 shipped and all.
 
yah, prices differ everywhere, so we'll need a link to the preferred etailer...
i also agree with waiting for the new cpus.
 
Yeah again, Maccco, where are you buying your parts from?

Oh and both lists are not that good for the money especially in light of Intel's Sandy Bridge CPUs.
