5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
Already got a Corsair 300 case and a GTX 460
6) Will you be overclocking?
Only if I can afford it.
7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
Looking at 21'' 1600x900
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?

9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? UEFI? etc.
Onboard video as a backup would be nice but definitely not necessary. USB 3.0 would also be nice.
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?

My brother needs a new computer before he goes off to college. I already have a gtx 460 that he can use for now and we picked him up a case. Ideally we would like the processor to still be good enough to play games in a couple of years.

Mostly looking for mobo and processor advice, trying to decide between and i5-2400 and i3-2120. I figure the i5 is a good bit more future proof. The part I need the most help with is a fair mobo.
