Pretty flexible, Doesnt matter with what I need to complete this system.

4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.

No for now, But I have koolance exos2 im rebuilding also.

Raid, Crossfire (2cards or more), Very feature packed and reliable. Tons of overclocking features would be nice.

10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?

Hello everyone,

I been debating what to do for a while since I dont have ton of room for bitcoining but also want to pull decent mhash, But I also want badass rig for gaming. Well I just sold off 650$ worth of computer parts that I had laying around and 2 of my miners.

What I currently am carrying over to my new build:

(Items that have price im decided on for sure and "?" mean I am up for suggestions, Stuff thats just filled in means I already own it)

Case: Lian Li PC-K57
Powersupply: Cosair 1200W - CMPSU-1200AX 280$
Motherboard: ASUS Crosshair V Formula 240$
CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1100T 3.3Ghz - 189$
RAM: 4x2GB DDR3 PC3-10600
HD: 2X Western Digital Raptors - RAID 0
GPU: ATI HD6990 ~900$

Thanks a bunch It would be awesome If someone took time to anwser my questions about this build. ;)

You're planning this build a bit too early as our recommendations tends to change month from month. As such, if you want the most up to date advice, please ask after 1st week of August.

Which OCZ 850W PSU? There are some OCZ 850W PSUs barely capable of powering a HD 6870 let alone HD 6990.

Not a good choice and more than won't be a good choice a month from now. From a price to performance ratio, you're better off with the Core i5 2500K. Yes it does cost about $30 more but you're getting a significant jump in performance for that small amount.

I wont go intel, I stick with amd. sorry even if its not as fast or price effective.

And I dont mind if there will be something better in august, If anything it will get cheaper which im fine with.
 
So I guess a nice PC power and cooling 1kw is in line for dual 6990 setup basically is what your saying.
What do you think about motherboard?
 
Wow... Thanks for that info, I actually had to rma my 5870 once after 2 months use. But I ran 6970 and 5870 for month and no problems. But Ill try to find PC Power and cooling or Cosair 1kw. Not going to mistreat my 6990 when I get one.

Ok, we tend to recommend motherboards when they're part of a Newegg CPU + mobo combo deal as it usually saves you money. Unfortunately we don't know what CPU + mobo combo deal will be out in August until August.

For example, if you were buying this month and wanted AMD, then I would recommend this combo deal:

In any case for HD 6990 crossfire, I'd recommend at least a 1200W PSU. I would not go with PC P&C PSUs these days on account of some of their PSUs being of lesser quality than the older generation of PC P&C PSUs and the actually decent to good quality PC P&C PSUs are currently overpriced to hell.

Go for Corsair 1200AX or the Antec High Current Pro 1200W.
 
Thats very disappointing to hear pc power n cooling isnt what they used to be.
Well Ill go with Antec or corsair as long as their single rail 12v designs which im sure they are.

Ever since ocz and pc power merged it hasnt been same =/
