PHP 7000 - Acer 20\" (G205H) Special \"Olympic Version\"

If you can, try to find the Phenom II 955 CPU. It's faster than the Phenom II 905e, which apparently is the only quad-core CPU from that store.

Hi Danny,

Nice build as always.

Some of the Athlon II and Phenom II processors are under AMD Processors (All Variations) found here: http://www.tipidpc.com/viewitem.php?iid=3679274

Hi Danny,

I have a few questions.

Would switching from 450VX to 400CX be a big difference?

Also would I notice a big difference between Elite 330 and a cheaper generic case?

Thanks.

Yes. Stick with the Corsair 450VX for the little extra headroom it provides.

Depends on which generic case you're talking about.

That case isn't half bad. Just use 120mm fans and you'll be set with that case.

Talked to the wife about the PC budget and she said the PHP 40,000 should have included the furniture and other peripherals :( So I'm left with PHP 30,000 for the CPU.

Here is what I came up with:
4300 = Athlon II X3 440
3600 = MSI 770-C45
6250 = G.Skill Ripjaws (F3-12800CL7D-4GBRM)
2350 = WD Caviar Blue 500GB (WD5000AAKS)
6480 = Asus HD 5750 1gb/128bit ddr5 Formula
1000 = CM Hyper TX3
2370 = CM Elite 330 + 120mm fan
3520 = Corsair 450VX
-300 = Corsair PSU rebate if bundled with ATI 5XXX.

35,570 = Total

Would it be better to go with MSI 770-G45 rather than MSI-C45?
Will I feel the difference of 1333 CL7, 1600 CL7 and 1600 CL9?

Really no major difference between the G45 and C45. You won't notice an iota of difference between any of thos RAM speeds. So go for the cheapest set.
