just an idiot.
He basically refuses to see that he could be wrong, he basically decree's he's right and no one can argue his position, he'll make every effort to defend his position rather than own up to being wrong, including deleting comments, videos, blocking PMs and basically just decreeing himself right. It's kinda sad actually![]()
Hi,
I appreciate what you are trying to do with your instructional videos, but some of the things you say in them are wrong. In particular, in your "Game Performance" video, you say the following at 7:28:
"Another mistake people do after they install the damn game is that they don't install the excess video drivers that go with that game that are inside the game disc, okay? This file is called a VCrdistribute_x86.exe. Every game from 2008 - probably from before 2008 - until now has this file in it. It's basically DirectX. It's DirectX. It doesn't matter whether your computer has DirectX on it or not. These files are specific video drivers that will forward the games that you have, okay? You have to install those if you want your game to run right, because again, they're specific video drivers for DirectX9 that go with the game."
This file (actually vcredist_x86.exe) is not a graphics driver. It is not DirectX. It is a Visual C++ library. That file installs a standard library of functions which any program developed with Microsoft Visual C++ can use.
A very simple example would be a function that counts the number of characters in a string of characters. This is a very common task in a program that deals with strings of characters. Rather than every game developer having to write a function to do this, one is provided for them in Microsoft's Visual C++ library. Because programming libraries like Visual C++ include hundreds of functions like this (many far more complicated), they generally save developers a lot of time, are more optimized than what a game developer would try to write quickly, and have been tested to be fairly secure.
Programming libraries are designed to be used universally by any program in the system that needs them. Thus, they are generally not tailored to specific games. The installers you find on game discs all install the exact same Visual C++ library. The only time you would find a difference is if you're looking at two games released years apart; in that case, the newest one might have a newer version.
All game installers check to see whether the components they need are already installed, and thus will only install the Visual C++ library if the correct version is not already installed. Therefore, if the game's installer did not install the library, you don't need to manually install it yourself.
I hope this has explained why advising gamers to manually install the Visual C++ library by executing the vcredist_x86 file found on each game disc is redundant and unnecessary, and how some of the details you use to support this claim are false. If you have any further questions, I would be happy to respond via PM.
Instead of typing out thsi whole wall of text I did not read, you need to stop listening to what everyone else says I said and pay attention to what is really going on and what I really said.
You are now blocked because you cannot grasp I am not even saying anything that everyone says I am wrong on.
I cannot eb wrong about things I have never said.
I love how he say stuff about "I never said that"
You quoted from the fucking video, how could you NOT have said that?
This is his last message to me today.
I think that rules out troll, a troll would just keep at it. I'm also inclined to think there's something wrong, he lack some pretty basic mental abilities like pattern recognition. Who on earth doesn't question the "facts" they know when many people are all telling you that you're wrong? Surely he recgonises that has meaning....amazing. Anyway I tried :/
I love how he say stuff about "I never said that"
You quoted from the fucking video, how could you NOT have said that?
The guy probably has mental issues of some kind of is just an idiot.
What kind of bullshit is this? OP should be banned for a week for posting this asshole's video.
I love how he say stuff about "I never said that"
You quoted from the fucking video, how could you NOT have said that?
Instead of anyone of us trying to convince him he's wrong, how about one of us try sending him a message agreeing on everything on says!?!?! And then asking him where does he obtain such wealth of knowledge about the almighty "power box" or the "anti-aninstalling"hahahaha Would be interesting to find out if someone was really spoon feeding him garbage, and then he really thought all that he learned was the truth ^^
I wonder if there's a reason why in the related videos there's this...

Apparantly benchmarking GPUs isn't fair because there's too many system variables like OS, game settings etc, haha.
Also apparantly physics engines make games run faster
He's disabled comments for maxium RAAAAAAAAGE!!
He's definitely smoking the "good stuff."
I can't listen to that, That guys douchbagery is the stuff of legend.
I really hope he is a troll, b/c if he takes himself seriously then wow, just wow
