anyone have a problem with the Logitech G7 where it just randomly stops responding? The G7 does not have a connect button to resync it to the base, but i have tried the connect utillity that installs when you install setpoint. I have also tried another usb port but it still happens.

Yeah mine too - has been for months, never found anything out about it and Logitech said it was prolly the amount of wireless kit I have around it

So I bought a G5 after that ;)

id bitch and moan to logitech, and if you bought it at newegg, ask for a rma for thare. I love my mx510, but i have had horrible experience in the past with thare mice.

I just had to RMA mine after 2 months of good use........:(

Over this past week it has become almost unusable......throwing up double and triple left clicks at random when single clicking. Eg. go to open Firefox and 2 or 3 copies open or windows maximising when trying to move them etc etc. dammed annoying!!......all at random and intermittent intervals........

A quick trip to Logitech's Forums shows many with the same problem and that it happens on certain builds of the G7..........the problem not surfacing until after a long period of use (I've been using mine since October) and deteriorating rapidly thereafter.

It has been tested now by my supplier and have just got note back that it is indeed faulty.

Replacement on its way. :)

Hmm. I bought a slightly used G7 and use it for ~10 hrs a day (not in a row mind you :-P) and it hasn't messed up once. I love this damn mouse. Not because of the lasar, but the shape (I love the MX body) and the way it recharges. So much better than my MX700
