• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

ok thanks to danny my mind has been racking away all night trying to figure out wither to upgrade completely or not

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? Gaming, Light Music stuff, some Photoshoping
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included? $500 but the cheaper the better
3) Where do you live? picayune,ms
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
Mobo,Cpu,Ram,Psu,Hdd's,1xoptical, cooling(air or water (keep internal))
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
None.
6) Will you be overclocking? Slight/Mild Yes
7) What size monitor do you have and/or plan to have? have 19" wide, planning for 2x22/4" later on
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC? less than a month
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video? etc. Future SLI or Xfire would be nice.
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit? Vista Ultimate 64

First, answer the sticky questions. Be brief, yet concise; we don't want stories, nor do we want to read between the lines.

Second, where are you getting the P180 for $50 shipped from?

sorry about that fixed.

picked it up off ebay, barely used at all only down side is it only has 1 set of rails for the 5.25" bays no biggie thou

If you want us to find you the best deals possible for your new PC, please come back a week from now. By then we'll know what Newegg combo deals will be out.

Are you sure that it's a month or two, or is it more like six or more months later?

I ask because you would need a good mid-range or high-end card for gaming and a good card costs at least $200.

well im aiming for that time range but if all else fails i will be getting atleast a single 24"
its a for sure thing i just have to budget everything off of every other paycheck lol.

Here's the thing: you're going to have to look at a few compromises for a $500 system.

Can you wait a little longer and save up an additional $100 or $200 (or even more) for your system?

no, im not looking to go all out i dont care for that.. i just need a mid-range system
i have 2 dirtbikes and 2 cars im rebuilding so my main money is for them lol
