Unless the user were running ESXi or a VM farm on that system with ECC memory, the dual-core i3-6100 is a far better value.
Well I already answered this above and I said that I would leave the topic alone. I am 100% sure that buying a dual core in 2015 is a bad idea unless building a word processing machine or a basic laptop. Otherwise we would all be playing Battlefront on our dual core laptops. There is a reason that DX12 was created and dual cores are the antithesis of this ideology. Nice for mobile gaming though, which is where Intel is headed.
