Hey [H], (Apologies to Mods)

Working a new system for my mom. Store box computers are just to much a pain in the ass so I'm trying to get a real slim, full on package put together for her.

1) Web Browsing, it's for my mom, she Facebooks, You-tubes and occasionally pops in a CD.
2) Shooting for $500 shipped.
3) Wisconsin
4) Case, PSU, Optical Drive, CPU, MOBO, RAM, Monitor, Hard Drive
5) Hard Drive, Monitor (These are reusable in a pinch, but ideally this will be an all new system)
6) No
7) 17 or 18?
8) By end of march
9) On-board video
10) Win 7 Home Premium

And I've also got Win 7 Home Premium on there.

Unfortunately the price right now, shipped, is about $580-ish.

Ideally I'd like to get the point closer down to $500.

Any suggestions?

It also depends on where the OP lives. Officially, Windows 7 Home Basic is not distributed in most of the developed contries such as the U.S. The least-expensive version of Windows 7 officially distributed in the U.S. (excluding Windows 7 Starter that is pre-installed on many netbooks) is Home Premium.
