I would like to sell this for $150 + shipping (obo) or trade it straight up for a laptop. I would really prefer the laptop as I might have to be away from home for an extended period of time coming soon. I was just recently told that I have a recurrence of a cancer that I was diagnosed with last August. Since the primary diagnosis I went thru chemo, radiation, and surgery, but the recent scans showed that the monster has returned in me. The primary cancer has now spread to my liver and I might have to be 3 hours away from home for an extended period of time. If anyone has any questions or concerns please feel free to PM or email me about anything. If you read this, could you please atleast bump my thread? While I appreciate the sympathies here, please try to keep the bumps reasonable. The bump rules are in place to keep things fair for everyone, and short of approval by an administrator, constantly keeping any thread at the top will not be allowed.

Free Bump for you. For the record I said keep it reasonable, not abandon the guy. As long as it's not inconsistent with other threads here, free bumps/question bumps are alright.

Best of luck man, this would be a great deal for a folding box, but I'm already in trouble with the wife....

Not lookin for anything "beefy", more like something basic. The only thing that I would really be interested in is built-in wireless or to have a wireless card with it. I am just looking for something so that I can be in contact with family and friends. A good battery would be a plus but not necessary if the AC adapter is included. Maybe something that could possibly run XP but if not I got W2K also and that would be fine. As far as exact specs I am not really sure but I am obviously not lookin for the latest and greast high-end laptop.

I do have a deal PENDING locally, but please make an offer in case that one happens to fall through.

Lol, after the post on the front page, everybody got scared. Myself included. :p

Anyway, my wife has a Dell 1150 with a 2.4 celeron and i believe a gig of ram, 14inch 4x3 and xp home with wireless. I might be able to talk her into parting with it if the terms are right and if your interested of course. ;)

Pending local deal fell thru..... I am going to be leaving on Friday and don't yet know if I am going to return home for treatments, return home for just the weekend and then go back, or if I will have to stay away from home starting on Friday already.. I was really hoping to get a deal done so that I could either have a laptop to bring with me or have the money to pay some bills. Hopefully I can get a deal done within the next day :(
