I'm cleaning house with most of my hi-fi gear. I've taken on other interests, and don't really use this stuff as much as it deserves anymore. Everything listed is adult owned, and carefully looked after in a smoke free home.

All of the items listed should be considered to include only what is stated/pictured. I cannot find the boxes or manuals for any of my stuff. They are all in a moving box somewhere. I will continue to look for them and include anything I may find, but for the sake of keeping things accurate, assume it's missing and if I manage to locate something, call it a bonus. Prices shown do not include shipping. I will ship with any carrier desired, but I will only ship CONUS, and I will only ship a method that can be tracked and properly insured for the full sale price. Pickup is fine in the NW Chicago suburb area. I am not interested in trades.

Onto what's for sale...

Fostex TH-600 w/ mods- $630

These are the prize of my collection. They really are very special, and they will be the hardest to put a box and send off. But, like I said above, I just don't find myself putting them on enough to justify having them around. I purchased these from another member here. To my knowledge, I am the second owner, but i'm not 100% sure on this.

The modifications to these are:

- Full Lawton Audio Level-1 Mod with Lawton Dampening and Lawton Pads.
- Custom deep cocobolo wood cups by Martin Custom Audio. (To my knowledge, he is no longer doing this)
- Hifiman style connectors and detachable (stock) cable.
- Beyerdynamic headband

One of the ear cups has a small issue in that it rotates freely in either direction. The other earcup has a "wall" where it only rotates so far in either direction, which is the intended operation. Not really sure why this is, or what caused it. Honestly, I didn't even notice it until I took pictures of them today. It doesn't affect the functionality in the slightest, but it's worth being aware of. These are in great condition otherwise. You might find very small marks on the paint with close inspection, but they really do look nice and I took very good care of them. One of the earpieces has what at a quick glance appears to be a crack. Best I can tell, it's not. I think it's just an imperfection in the wood. This is the way they came to me. It's not a weak point, and doesn't affect their condition in my opinion, but there is a noticeable "line" in the wood that you can see and feel. The flash from my phone makes it stand out prominently, especially since it's along a dark section of wood. In natural lighting, it's far less noticeable, and never bothered me (in fact, look at my profile pic, which is the same earcup, and even though its a small picture you can see the difference in normal lighting)

Grado RS2i - $330

I am the original owner on these, got them just under 3 years ago. In that time they have seen very little use. If I had to guess, I'd say around 100 hours. I've got a soft spot for Grado, but I have to be in the mood for them I guess. I have both the bowls, as well as an aftermarket set of bagels (I don't recall who makes them, but not Grado). They are pretty close to mint condition. There is a very small ding above the A in Grado on one earcup, and I quite honestly think they came from the factory this way. I tried to get a picture of it, but it's one of those things where unless you were hunting, you wouldn't see it.

Schiit Lyr 2 w/ LSST Tubes - $430

I am the original owner on this, slightly over a year old. I purchased it with only the LSST tubes. Aside from some stubborn residue from the feet on the bottom, there is really no signs of use, it's pretty much mint. I'm going to try and track down some goo-gone to get said residue off. The feet themselves have fallen off and are missing. I took good care of this. I even kept a cooling fan behind it to keep it cool during prolonged listening periods.

Schiit Bifrost Uber - $260

Again, original owner. Purchased exactly 3 years ago. This does not have USB. In the pictures there is some glue residue from case feet. It has since been removed.
