LOL I totally forgot about this. Yeah.. I never recieved my tree :(
 
I got my oak tree, IIRC last october. It was doing great growing by the window. Then it lost all its leaves and I thought for sure it kicked it. Turns out it was just being a tree during fall. The main stem is still alive and green, I cant wait for spring and some new leaves.

The easiest way to make it a Bonsai is to not let it grow any new branches. Only let it grow new leaves on its first two branches. Basically you cant let it grow taller. Bonsai is basically plant abuse when it comes right down to it. Just abuse it but dont kill it.
