Free Mountain Dew X

Unless he actually worked for Mountain Dew (seems unlikely, considering his uniform) he didn't steal my money. The invoice was a USPS invoice. There was nothing strange/forged about it. They're there same kind you get if you ship something COD.

Ok then, scan in the invoice - pwned

Anatonanton: So if it was a bomb, a porno, or a picture of michael jackson molesting a child, you woudnt be able to refuse it? Get real. If this was real, it would also say they would have the authority to break my door.

I signed up as well, but I'll be damned if any postman is gonna make me pay $37.00 for a package if thats the case. I'm just gonna laugh at the poor bastard, whats he gonna do, beat me up over a package?? LOL thats stupid and besides Mountain Dew would have to state that the package will be shipped COD or otherwise there liable to have a little class action lawsuit on their hands!

Yeah, I think the person who showed me this, said it was from E3 or somthing to that nature.

Ordered this a few days ago. It came, but they charged me COD for shipping (it was $37 to MI). The package has a no-refuse on it, so I couldn't turn the guy away. All that's in it is some new "Mountain Dew: X" and posters and stuff. It comes in a big metal container. Not worth $37.
Ha Ha

We’ll be shipping your product out shortly. Be on the lookout for it.

if they try to collect COD i will shut the door and walk away

Cool thanks........And for the $37 charge, they cannot stop me from closing the door on them :)

Thanx for the hook up

Im calling BS on this. I work for the USPS and there is no way to specify while sending a no refusal. The post office doesn't give a shit if you refuse it they've already been paid the shipping fees before it will be sent out. Im not sure of the code he stated but I doubt it exists. If this were true what would stop me from sending stuff to everyone and making them pay for it. That would be a good job.

I just signed up too, but now I almost wish I didn't. Nowhere on the page does it say anything about it being free. Furthermore, the lack of a disclaimer or some other type of legal disclosure makes me pretty nervous.

also means you aren't forced into any sort of contract, nor have you signed any sort of binding legal shit...meaning you don't have to pay for it if you don't want, cause no where did you ever say you WERE going to pay for it

well, it's not concrete evidence... but it looks like the COD guy is bluffing. Why would he get his package before the rest of us? Anyway, if you sign up for their stupid little club, newsletter, club thingie it has this as an option:
Yes! I'd like to receive information from Mountain Dew.
"About once a month, you'll receive news about Mountain Dew's promotions, events, and products, and maybe even coupons and free product samples."

I doubt they would send this stuff COD anyway. They are just going to be wasting their money when we all send it back to them. Worst case scenario, if this is true, and I AM forced to accept the package and pay for it then here is what I do: I take it, box it all up in a new box and send it COD right back where it came from for say... 137 dollars. That should make up for the cash I spent, plus shipping, plus a pain in the ass fee. Heh... if we all did that then I think it would put an end to their little COD plot.

...but I still believe that dude is smoking crack.

How is it poss for 2 cans and a crappy hat cost 37 bucks...

not in this reality

NEXT!!!

What could be better than free dew? This COD crap is plain stupid, he must be some Coke guy.

If he is true, then that means that ANYONE in the US can send ANYONE a box, with a COD fee of $1000000, and be forced to pay it. Sounds like a good job if its true.

He = Lies. :rolleyes:

I get to test products before their release all the time and I got to test this a few months ago, its pretty good. Id like another, so ill sign up :)

I just signed up lets see if this COD thing is bullshit or not. Sure sounds like bullshit to me though
