Free FTP server for Windows?

Anyone know of a good and free FTP server for Windows other than the built in one?

Well, I based my recommendation on the quality ofthe software, not the site. Given the fact that it is free doesn't lend itself well to having a large, fancy, commercial site.

FTP Servers
Serv-U FTP Server > GuildFTPd GuildFTPd is the #1 FTP server for Windows (according to them)
IIS FTP > CesarFTP 0.00g supports virtual directories, and user defined passive port ranges (allows FTP serving on ports other than 21 through a linksys/netgear/etc. style router). you WILL run into probs trying to do that on IIS

as listed in the Warez to Freeware Index the locked one
(really need to differentiate those titles more )

As a side note I also tried Burn At Once as a substitute for Nero. It seems alright but Nero is probably still better.

I use MS Internet Information Services 5.x. It was a pretty big learning curve getting all the permissions set up, but once I figured it all out it works great.

As far as I know, you need the Professional version of XP or any version of 2000 to use MS IIS.
