ForceWare 77.76

Has anyone had issues running Java Applets or anything involving the 1.4.2 or 1.5.0 JRE software?

My machine bluescreens with no error in event log (debugging the memory dump gets hung up on loading nv4_disp.dll) so I'm stumped as to what could be causing this.

I moved to 77.76 because of a memory leak affecting WoW in 77.72.

Anyone?

Forget about the 77.76 try the new 77.77(ASUS MADE) WIn2k/XP 32bit and also have 64bit version aswell (I have not tested the 64bit). I think they are best driver out there. The quality of the graphics in my games and benchies are much nicer to look at. I see little things Ive never noticed before. They are not the fastest( 61.21's are fastest for me) but seem to be the smoothest and most stable Ive tried, and Ive tried them all over the last 16 months with my XFX6800GT. They also run 5C cooler then 77.76.( 49C vs 54C Idle) The color is still screwed(WMP) at default but just set color to "all" instead of just "desktop"in color options and that fixes it.
PS: they also OC better.

Hey folks, with both 77.7X's I have noted that on the GF7800 GTX's there is texture corruption when using any form (multi/super) of transparent AA or AA for that matter in UT2004.

However, this does not occur until a 2nd map is loaded. i.e.: go to instant action, deathmatch (or whatever) play through a match, then let it load the next map...you will start seeing "blinking" or missing textures, very odd.

Can anyone else confirm this issue with their 7800 GTX?

Aha! So that's what's happening to me. I noticed a sort of "liquid - warping" effect on the sandbag-esqe walls. Hopefully this'll get fixed soon, cause BF2 without AA makes me wanna explode

Calm down! :p I'm confident that's on nVidia's top priority list of bugs to fix. ;)

FYI.. 77.77 fixed the Java Applet problems I was having with 77.76 for anyone else experiencing the same issues.
