Foldix troubles?

I've used foldix before, but I just put it some other machines I have that were running slackware, and when I do /etc/fold start, or I restart, nothing is shown in the 5th terminal (alt+f5). Any insight? I checked the fold directory, and everything looks like it should be, but since there's no log or anything, I'm guessing the client isn't actually starting. It says: "fold init called" "done." "fold start called" then doesn't say anything after it, I forget if it should say "done" afterwards or not. Any hlep would be appreciated.

PS I already tried reinstalling on both machines.


NEVERMIND: I got it to work by just setting a static IP
