Dual SMP clients on a Q6600 (set 2 cores for each client)
It works, but I expected it would since the same box was folding on 10.3 previously, anyone else folding on the new release? Any comments?

It seems that gkrellm reports a bit lower core usage %. I'm not sure how the PPD will compare.
 
Just recently got mine halfway setup and everything seems to be running fine. The last time I checked I was crunching on 2 2605s and I don't think the CPU usage was any different from normal but I didn't look really close. If you're crunching on the 2665s, that's a different story. They don't seem to run the CPU usage as high.

I should be able to get a better look at it tonight after work. Also, I'm still running KDE 3.5. I tried KDE4.1 beta at first but didn't really care for it at this time. Plus, it has a problem with dual monitors which is something I cannot handle. I get a display on the second monitor, but nothing will actually work on it, at least in dualview mode with an 8800GT.

 
Haven't tried it on my dual monitor rig, that would be a problem. I rather like KDE4 on this single headed box. Overall this release seems a bit more responsive with the two clients running.
 
Been running KDE4 with an 8600GT for a while, with dual displays via Twinview. Works well. Framerates kind of suck, but that's nVidia's fault.
Try using envy to set up the video driver. I had problems with the driver that Ubuntu's restricted driver manager set up, but envy works great.

 
Now that I got home and have to leave again I took a quick look.

I'm now running 2665s on both clients and the CPU usage is about where it always was as well as the PPD. The CPU usage is low compared to the 2605s or 2653s but that's nothing new there.
