Heh, if you really want to be cheap like I did one time, you can go ghetto tuner:
1. Gen an old walkman
2. Rip it apart, salvaging the main board inside, ditching the tape player, cd player, etc.
3. Get a cd-rom audio cable
4. Get a regular 1/8" stereo cable
5. Put them alone in a closet to "do their thing"
6. Realize cables can't mate, pull out and splice together, it's easy, 3 wires to 3 wires
7. Hook up some wires from the AUX connector (3.3v) to the batteries compartment
8. Connect the stereo jack to the walkman, the other end to the AUX on your sound card.
9. Turn on your computer, go into sound controll and un-mute aux
10. ...
11. Profit
And yes, it *does* work
