Floppy and CDR not working...

This is really weird. I decided to do a clean install of XP and now my 50x CD drive and floppy no longer work. Windows and BIOS all detect it yet when I put a disk/cd in it, it doesn't even spin up. Does anyone know whats going on?
 
Ok, I solved the floppy issue.

The cd however, still remains. Only the CDRW will run. Both of them are seen but I can't open the CDR and the cd will not spin up. Any ideas?
